In the commercial sector, prefabricated buildings are used for sales booths at exhibitions, information and ticket kiosks in metro stations, small warehouses for chemical storage, and environmental monitoring stations. Like their residential counterparts, these structures are made from FRP sandwich panels, but with stricter fire safety standards (ASTM E84 code) and higher resistance to wind loads (up to 150 km/h).
Commercial panels are often made with a stone wool core (2-hour fire resistance) and FRP skins with self-extinguishing resin (using halogenated or phosphated additives). Connections are made with FRP or stainless steel bolts and nuts. Mandegar Baspar Company, in addition to supplying specialized fire-retardant resins, provides ready-made panels with custom dimensions (up to 12 meters in length) and rapid installation in under 48 hours for commercial projects.
