City and intercity buses, due to continuous use and harsh road conditions, require durable and lightweight spare parts. The molding process is carried out by spray-up or hand lay-up methods using silicone or metal molds. These methods allow for the production of large-sized parts (up to 12 meters in length).

The advantage of using FRP parts in buses is the overall weight reduction of the vehicle (leading to fuel savings of up to 10%) and increased part durability against road salting in winter.
