FRP grating is a type of lightweight, open-grid flooring used in factory walkways, refinery platforms, port docks, wastewater treatment plants, and power plants. There are two main types: molded grating, made by compression molding of polyester resin with short fiberglass, and pultruded grating, produced by continuous pultrusion, which has higher unidirectional strength. Both types feature a slip-resistant surface (achieved by adding silica particles or special mold patterns).
