Home and rooftop greenhouse

Small home greenhouses for growing vegetables, flowers, or ornamental plants on rooftops, yards, or balconies require a covering that is transparent, lightweight, and weather-resistant. Transparent FRP sheets (made with special clear polyester resin and fiberglass with a matching refractive index) are known as a more economical and stronger alternative to glass and polycarbonate. The continuous production process (pultrusion or roll forming) allows for the production of sheets with thicknesses from 0.8 to 2 mm and widths up to 2 meters.

Transparent FRP sheets transmit up to 85% of visible light but filter out harmful UV rays for plants. Their resistance to hail and wind is up to three times that of tempered glass. Greenhouse frames are also made from rust-proof FRP profiles.
