Clear, High-Viscosity Epoxy Resin

• Resin: Resin epoxy clear – decorative system RE500

• Hardener: Hardener epoxy clear – decorative system HE550

• Pot life: 45 minutes (the time it takes for the resin and hardener to react, the mixture to heat up, and the gelation time to begin)

• Curing time: between 8 to 72 hours

• Heat resistance after curing: 60°C

Application of clear, high-viscosity epoxy resin: Suitable for abstract work, the electronics industry, epoxy floorings, jewelry and resin handcrafts, artificial stones, painting on canvas, and certain jewelry to create a domed shape on the surface. Low flowability, high color control.

Very important note: In cold seasons, a very common occurrence is that the epoxy resin tends to turn white or milky, and may eventually become a solid white mass. This whitening of the resin is due to the formation of resin crystals, caused by the cold temperature of the resin environment. If the resin is used in this state, the final piece will not be completely clear and will be somewhat matte/opaque. To solve this problem, simply warm the resin slightly and place it at a temperature of about 50°C until it returns to its original state and full clarity.
